Dr. Wedad Abdelrahman is a fully qualified UK-trained consultant dermatologist, registered with the General Medical Council with a special interest in paediatric and medical dermatology. After graduating from Queen’s University of Belfast with distinction, she completed her four-year speciality training programme in the Northern Ireland deanery. Before completing training, Dr. Abdelrahman embarked on a prestigious fellowship on the Therapeutic Use of Laser working alongside plastic surgeons at one of the UK's leading centres for Burns and Plastic Surgery in Swansea. She was the second dermatologist in the UK to achieve this. In 2018 Dr Abdelrahman went on to complete a sought-after fellowship in medical dermatology at the world-renowned centre- St John’s Institute (Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust), looking after medically complex patients with inflammatory and immunobullous skin diseases. She now works as a full-time consultant dermatologist at St John’s running paediatric and adult clinics as well as tertiary specialist clinics in immunobullous skin diseases, hidradenitis suppurativa and epidermolysis bullosa. Dr. Abdelrahman has published and presented extensively, both at a national and international level. She has a keen interest in medical education and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Education affiliated with Queen’s University of Belfast. She is extensively involved in teaching of undergraduates from King’s College London as well as postgraduates on the MSc programme in Clinical Dermatology. Dr Abdelrahman is involved in several clinical trials at St John’s Institute with a focus on hidradenitis suppurativa and children's psoriasis and is the national chief investigator for a commercial clinical trial: A randomized, active-controlled, efficacy assessor-blinded study to evaluate pharmacokinetics, safety and efficacy of Risankizumab in patients from 6 to less than 18 years of age with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

For the last six years, Professor Zbigniew has been a Co-President and Chairman of the Case & Poster Presentation Sessions and Competition at the International Dubai Dermatology Conference (Dubai Derma), one of the most significant dermatology events worldwide. He is the Founder and Chairman of the annual International Pediatric Dermatology Conferences (IPDC), the only platform of this kind in the MENA region. The 5th edition this year attracted over 3000 participants from 74 countries and 27 distinguished international speakers. Recently, Prof. Zbigniew was elected the Chairman of the Pediatric Dermatology Division at the Arab Academy of Dermatology and Esthetics. Prof. Ruszczak presented over 500 lectures at national and international conferences, published over 125 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, and numerous book chapters. Zeinah AlHalees MD

Dr. Zeinah AlHalees is a board-certified Dermatologist. She completed her residency training in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at McGill University in 2022. She subsequently completed an additional year of training in Immunodermatology at the University of British Columbia in 2023 and also completed a Masters of Health Sciences degree at the University of British Columbia as well. Dr. AlHalees has always been very fond of teaching, medical education and curriculum development. Dr. Zekayi Kutlubay is a professor of dermatology at the Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty in Istanbul, Türkiye. He is also a member of the Ministry of Justice, Forensic Medicine Institution İstanbul Office. Dr. Kutlubay completed his medical degree and dermatology speciality training at Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine.
