Qianjin Lu MD

Lu Qianjin, Professor, Executive Director of Dermatology Hospital (Institute), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Director of Key Laboratory of Basic and Translational Research on Immune-Mediated Skin Diseases, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Director of Hunan Key Laboratory of Medical Epigenomics, President of Chinese Society of Dermatology (CSD), President of Skin Immunization Branch of Chinese Society of Immunology, Vice President of World Chinese Association of Dermatologists, and associate editor of Clinical Immunology. He has been engaged in clinical, teaching and scientific research of dermatology for more than 30 years. He has rich experience in clinical diagnosis and treatment of complicated skin diseases such as lupus erythematosus. He has successively presided over three key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and major international cooperation projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 300 papers in the Lancet, JAMA, Blood, J Clin Invest, Nat Commun, J Immunol, Ann Rheum Dis and other internationally renowned medical journals. From 2014 to 2024, he was selected into the list of Highly cited Scholars in the medical field in China for ten consecutive years. As the primary contributor, he received the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and the provincial and ministerial first prize for four times. In 2014, he received the Outstanding Contribution Award of The International League of Dermatology (ILDS), in 2018, he received the NACDA Outstanding Achievement Award for Dermatology Research and the Chinese Medical Scientist Award, and in 2021, he received the World Outstanding Chinese Physician Huo Yingdong Award, and in 2022, he received the 22nd Session of Wu Jieping-Paul Janssen Medical Pharmacy Award, and in 2023, he recevied the 3rd National Innovation and Progress Award and the 16th Tan Jiazhen Clinical Medicine Award, and in 2024, he recevied the First Prize of Hainan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, and the title of National Outstanding Physician.

Peter Soyer MD

Prof H. Peter Soyer, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health & Medical Sciences, is the Inaugural Chair in Dermatology at The University of Queensland (appointed in 2007) and was Director of the Dermatology Research Centre at the Frazer Institute until 2024. He was Director of the Dermatology Department, at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane from 2008 to 2023. His research focus is on early detection of skin cancer and melanoma with emphasis on technological innovation and integration of AI into dermatology. In 2018, he was awarded a $9.9M infrastructure grant by the Australian Cancer Research Foundation to establish and lead the Australian Centre of Excellence in Melanoma Imaging and Diagnosis (ACEMID). Under his leadership ACEMID was recently (September 2024) awarded the EUREKA prize of the Australian Museum for Excellence in Interdisciplinary Scientific Research.

Giovanni Leone MD

Giovanni Leone was born in Rome in 1958. He was trained at the University of Roma, La Sapienza, where he got his medical degree in 1983, and obtained board certification in Dermatology and Venereology in 1986. He has been a visiting professor at the dermatology Clinic of the University of L’Aquila, and at the dermatology Clinic of the University of Novara, A. Avogadro, in the Piemonte Region. He has been Director of the a Photodermatology Unit at San Gallicano Institute in Rome, from 2001 to 2020. He was elected in 2004 as a member of the Board of the European Society for Photodermatology (ESPD) and he has been President- Chair of the European Society for Photodermatology ESPD from 2016 to 2023. He is a member of the European Task Force for Vitiligo (ETFV). He is associate editor of “Photodermatology, Photoimmunology, and Photomedicine PPP”. He holds the following memberships: Italian Society of Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Disease (SIDEMAST) since 1986; American Academy of Dermatology AAD, International Fellow since 1997; Societè Française de Photodermatologie (SFPD) since 1994; Photomedicine Society since 2004 His major areas of research include vitiligo, cutaneous photobiology, photoprotection, treatment of cutaneous diseases with phototherapy, photodermatoses, and psoriasis. He is Academic Director of the International School of Derma.

Wendemagegn Enbiale MD

Wendemagegn Enbiale (MD, MPH, PhD) is a dermatologist, public health specialist, and global health researcher with extensive expertise in neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), implementation research, and tropical dermatology. He is a Professor of Dermatovenereology at Bahir Dar and Arbaminch University, Ethiopia, and serves on several international advisory bodies, including the WHO Strategic and Technical Advisory Group for Neglected Tropical Diseases (STAG-NTDs). He is Vice Chair of the Global Association for Leadership in Dermatology (GLODERM), a board member of the International Alliance for the Control of Scabies (IACS), and has contributed to WHO guideline development and global NTD initiatives. Prof. Enbiale has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and leads collaborative research focused on skin NTDs, scabies, mycetoma, climate change and skin health, and strengthening dermatologic care in resource-limited settings.

Davide Fattore MD

Davide Fattore is a Consultant Dermatologist and Venereologist at the University Hospital “Federico II” of Naples, Italy.
