She has received specialized training in nail disorders and nail surgery in Brussels, Belgium. She is actively involved in research and has more than 30 publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Parmar also currently serves as an associate editor of the journal Pigment International and is an active reviewer in dermatology journals.
